Repurpose

Phew, after a whirlwind weekend celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Strickland, I have been a little preoccupied and not able to do an adequate blog posting. In the mean time, this is a pretty cool picture from Dwell Magazine that my friend, Brad, told me I needed to check out. Talk about making a statement from nothing. Builder and owner, Byron Mouton with his companion Julie Charvat create an amazingly fresh home in the midst of established New Orleans architecture. This surprising sculptural coffee table is fabricated from the guts of a piano. How inspiring, if only all recycling was this beautiful!
