Skinner Winner


In night of haphazard online auction house hunting (a welcomed distraction from the Monday Night Football humming in the background) I came across Skinner Auctions and Appraisers. Holy auction house heaven! Their September 11th auction of American & European Paintings & Prints had me basically drooling over my keyboard. I have a few items in mind for something on the horizon, but for now I will give you all a little peek inside this Boston gem.

Lot 53 After Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) Avant la course, 1910. Estimate $3,000-$5,000

Lot 76 Frederick Childe Hassam (American, 1859-1935) Easthampton, 1917. Estimate $2,000-$3,000
